Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Association
SaBRE (Supporting Britain’s Reservists and Employers) is an impartial body created by the Ministry of Defence to provide employers with the information and support required to employ a British reservist. Support includes providing information on legal rights and responsibilities as an employer; reservists and training commitments and how they can affect employers; and guidance on how to get the best out of reservist employees.
SaBRE aims to help companies and organisations understand the importance of their reservists, the extra skills and abilities a reservist will bring to their organisation and then encourages them to show their support by becoming a 'Supportive Employer'.
In recognition of their commitment, SaBRE awards ‘Supportive Employers’ a certificate signed by the Chief of the Defence Staff and the Secretary of State for Defence to showcase the employers' commitment to the Reserve Forces.

What Every Reservist needs to think about before mobilising.
Mobilisation is the process of calling Reservists into full-time service to serve alongside the Regular Armed Forces on operations. All Reservists are committed to the possibility of being mobilised if necessary. They are normally required to serve abroad but it is possible they would be needed to serve in the UK, for example in the event of a national emergency.
