Reserves brave freezing temperatures to hone their skills on exercise

More than 30 reservests from 4th Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment are doing a specially devised programme to help them prepare for future promotion.

They are among the dozens of 4YORKS solders currently braving sub-zero temperatures on the hills of Cumbria as part of Exercise Yorkshire Star .

The reservists have been split into two groups – with one group including 32 from 4 YORKS and a further 8 from 4LANCS on a Potential Junior Non-Commissioned Officer training course designed to prepare them for promotion.
