Commander Standing Joint Command Lieutenant General Tyrone Urch has made it clear that reservists will play a central role in COVID-19 operations.
“As military professionals, regulars and reservists, and as members of society, we will play a full part in our nation’s response to this unprecedented crisis,” he said.
In Yorkshire and the Humber, there are more than 2,430 reservists. They combine civilian lives and careers with full-on roles in the military and stand ready to serve their country and community when needed.
