HM Lord-Lieutenant Awards

The annual Lord-Lieutenants’ Awards for reservists, cadet force adult volunteers (CFAVs), cadets and employees who work within the Reserve forces and the Cadet movement are recognised as laudatory honours throughout the Ministry of Defence.

Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenants are the representatives of the Crown for each county in the United Kingdom. Men or women of all backgrounds, they are appointed directly by Her Majesty the Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister.

Each year, the presentation of the Lord-Lieutenants’ Awards for Yorkshire and The Humber are facilitated by Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for Yorkshire and The Humber and hosted in one of our reserve or cadet units.

The closing date for nominations for the 2020 awards has now passed, each entry will be closely assessed ahead of the award winners being announced later this year.
