The Reserve Forces’ & Cadets’ Association (RFCA) in Yorkshire & The Humber is an independent, community-based organisation with the responsibility of advising and assisting the Defence Council.
Are you a passionate communicator with management experience and a creative streak a mile wide? If the answer is yes then we need you! The Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for Yorkshire and The Humber is looking for a Communications Officer who can take our marketing, PR and communications to the next level. Using a multi-channel approach, you will work well under pressure and thrive as part of a friendly, supportive team.
As an arm’s length body of the MoD, the RFCA exists to support cadets, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers and reservists throughout the region and ensure they are able to grow and thrive. We work closely with the military (interest in this is desirable) and with businesses, MPs, local authorities and community groups to ensure our voice is heard and our volunteers and cadets can flourish. You should have line management experience, as well as experience of communicating with varied and geographically diverse audiences.
