Below is a memo from the Sea Cadets regarding their new flagship TS Royalist.
I am really excited to be able to share with you our latest Sea Cadet film charting the creation and launch of our wonderful new flagship TS Royalist. You can watch it at www.sea-cadets.org/flagshipbuild
For someone like me, who spends much of my time on the water teaching young cadets, it’s particularly exciting to think about all the young people who will experience life changing opportunities by taking part in offshore voyages aboard this awe inspiring vessel. I very much hope that many of the sea cadets will get the chance to take part in such an adventure on board TS Royalist.
Every day I see how water based activities really inspire and compel cadets to reach for the stars. As most cadets know, there is nothing like feeling the wind and spray in your face as you chase down the next wave.
Thank you for supporting Sea Cadets and joining us on our journey to realise our dream – to keep the thrill of offshore voyage alive for many generations to come.
Sub-Lieutenant (SCC) Mike Gribble RNR
Chief Instructor, Crosby Boating Station.
