The first, second and third placed entries in the RFCA’s Cadet photography competition #WeAreCadets have been announced.
The competition, which was aimed at Cadets from across Yorkshire and the Humber from all three services as well as the CCF, ran for just over six months, between April 2018 and the end of October. The Association was inundated with entries representing a myriad of experiences from band and parade, to exercises, adventure training and community and fundraising activities.
Judging was undertaken by senior figures in the RFCA whose job was made extremely difficult by the high calibre of entries.
The winners are:
1st place – Thomas Otter, Sheffield Sea Cadet Corps
2nd place – Jacob Wright, 119 (Scunthorpe) Squadron ATC
3rd place – Hishaam Hussain, 208 (North Leeds) Squadron ATC
The winners will receive cash prizes of £150, £75 and £25 respectively and will be presented with their prizes in the coming weeks – watch RFCA social media feeds for updates and news on the 2019 competition.
