RFCA YH welcomed staff from VIVO Defence Services to our HQ in York on February 29th.
VIVO will be the contracted Built Estate supplier working with our estates team beginning August 2024 and will cover key maintenance work, repairs, servicing and hard facilities management across the volunteer estate.
Volunteer Estate Value for Money Study
Following the Volunteer Estate Value for Money Study, the contract was awarded to VIVO as part of the Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) agreement for hard facilities management for all UK defence sites across the region.
Ian Hardbattle, Head of Estates at RFCA, said:
“It was a pleasure to welcome and meet the team from VIVO and tour selected cadet and reserves centres with them.
“We look forward to working with VIVO starting this summer and taking the next steps that will ensure the continued level of excellent service and management of our 149 estate properties where our reserves, adult volunteers and cadets work, train and learn.”
Really excited
Jamie McDonald, Customer Experience Director at VIVO Defence, added:
“We are really excited about providing services across the RFCA estate and it was great to meet with the Yorkshire and Humber team as we continue to mobilise ready for the summer.
“Meetings like this form a key part of our mobilisation and are very important to us as they allow us to get out to see the estate and meet those we will be working closely with from the summer.”
