The RFCA for Yorkshire and the Humber joined forces with North of England RFCA to stage the UK’s first ever virtual group Armed Forces Covenant Signing ceremony.
Some 11 employers from across both regions took part in the event and, from Yorkshire, the York Coffee Emporium as well as its parent company, The Upton Group took the opportunity to pledge their support to the nation’s military community by signing the Covenant.
“The event was a great opportunity to utilise new technologies, meet some of the fantastic employers and businesses from the region and to showcase to them ways in which they can support our reservists, cadet force adult volunteers and service leavers,” said RFCA for Yorkshire and The Humber’s head of engagement Phil Walton.
