Reserves Day is a special day set aside during Armed Forces Week to pay tribute to the men and women who give up their spare time to serve in the military and play such an integral role in protecting the nation at home and abroad.
Across Yorkshire and the Humber, there are more than 2,400 reserves. They fill roles in every walk of life, but you might not know it.

Reserves Day events
Employers such as the NHS and local councils often put on special events to mark Reserves Day and we highlight these on our social media channels and on this page as they are confirmed.
